Ingredients:
– 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 tablespoons lemon juice
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a bit of heat)
– Lemon slices, for garnish
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:
– Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.
2. Prepare the Marinade:
– In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
3. Season the Salmon:
– Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the marinade generously over each fillet, making sure they are well coated.
4. Bake the Salmon:
– Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
5. Garnish and Serve:
– Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
– Garnish with lemon slices and chopped fresh parsley before serving.
