Banana Lassi

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • ½ cup milk (or water for a lighter version)
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional, depending on sweetness preference)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom (optional, for flavor)
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • A pinch of cinnamon (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the ingredients:
    • Peel and slice the bananas.
    • If you want a thicker lassi, use frozen banana slices.
  2. Blend the ingredients:
    • In a blender, combine the sliced bananas, yogurt, milk (or water), honey or sugar, and ground cardamom (if using).
    • Add the ice cubes and blend everything until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust:
    • Taste the lassi and add more honey or sugar if you’d like it sweeter, or more milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
  4. Serve:
    • Pour the banana lassi into glasses.
    • Garnish with a pinch of cinnamon or extra cardamom if desired.
    • Serve chilled and enjoy!
