Ingredients:
– 8 oz udon noodles
– 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
– 2 cups broccoli florets
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 3 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
– 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 1/4 cup water
– 2 green onions, sliced
– Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook Udon Noodles:
– Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the Sauce:
– In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, and water. Stir until the cornstarch is completely dissolved and the sauce is well combined.
3. Cook Beef;
– Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
– Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
4. Cook Broccoli:
– In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil.
– Add the broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
– Add the minced garlic and ginger, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
5. Combine and Stir-Fry:
– Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the broccoli.
– Add the cooked udon noodles to the skillet.
– Pour the prepared sauce over the beef, broccoli, and noodles. Stir to combine everything well and ensure the sauce evenly coats all the ingredients.
6. Finish and Serve:
– Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until everything is heated through and the sauce has thickened.
– Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
