2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 green onions, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Marinade:
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
2. Marinate the Salmon:
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag.
Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated.
Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, but preferably for 1-2 hours.
3. Preheat the Grill:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Grill the Salmon:
Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the salmon on the grill, skin-side down.
Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
5. Garnish and Serve:
Remove the salmon from the grill and transfer to a serving platter.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
Serve hot with your favorite sides.
