Ingredients:
– 4 (4 oz) salmon fillets
– 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon sesame oil
– 1 teaspoon cornstarch
– 1 tablespoon water
– Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Marinade

2. Marinate the Salmon
– Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag.
– Pour half of the marinade over the salmon, reserving the other half for later.
– Marinate the salmon in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, but not more than 2 hours.
3. Preheat the Grill
– Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Make the Teriyaki Sauce
– In a small saucepan, bring the reserved marinade to a boil.
– In a separate small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry.

– Remove from heat and set aside.
5. Grill the Salmon
– Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the used marinade.
– Place the salmon fillets on the preheated grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
6. Serve
– Drizzle the grilled salmon with the thickened teriyaki sauce.
– Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
